Online Platform Gives Locally Donated Items National Exposure


Miami, FL - April 5, 2023 - Goodwill Industries of South Florida has partnered with GoodwillFinds, a recommerce venture reimagining the future of purpose -driven resale.  Alongside Goodwill of South Florida, three additional regions will join GoodwillFinds' network to help further the brand's long-standing tradition of funding job training and work opportunities for people with disabilities and other barriers to work.

Funds generated from the sale of our items on the platform will come back to our region to fund our job training, job placement, and social programs.

As part of the partnership, roughly 1% of items from Goodwill Industries of South Florida will be available on Consumers have different shopping preferences online and the items selected for GoodwillFinds are ones that would benefit from reaching the broadest possible audience. 

Goodwill Industries of South Florida, along with Goodwill Akron, and Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio are the latest regions to add to GoodwillFinds' growing number of one-of-a-kind products available on the platform, which recently surpassed 200,000 items in total at the beginning of 2023 and is expected to reach 1 million by year end. With a diverse selection of hand-picked donations sourced from Goodwill stores across the country, shoppers can now easily browse items online on the marketplace with greater diversity of categories and brands.
