Goodwill South Florida Welcomes New Board Members Lisa Kauffman and Joe Zubizarreta

Miami, FL (Oct. 16, 2024) – Goodwill South Florida is proud to announce the appointment of two distinguished community leaders to its Board of Directors: Lisa Kauffman, Chief Marketing and Experience Officer at Starboard Group, part of Global Travel Retail Holdings, LLC, and Joe Zubizarreta, a renowned Hispanic marketing expert and former interim President & CEO of United Way Miami.

 

 

Lisa Kauffman brings over two decades of marketing expertise, having previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at Perry Ellis International, a fashion house of 20+ brands with global distribution. Kauffman has also held executive marketing roles at Celebrity Cruises, Macy's Florida, and The Walt Disney Company. With her deep understanding of retail marketing, brand building and consumer insights, Kauffman is well-positioned to provide strategic guidance in promoting Goodwill’s business initiatives and expanding its community impact.

 

Joe Zubizarreta, former owner of Zubi Advertising, one of the country’s largest Hispanic advertising agencies, is recognized for successfully building meaningful relationships with consumers for clients such as Ford, JP Morgan Chase, and Walgreens. His dedication to community service is evident in his previous role as interim President & CEO of United Way Miami, where he led efforts to create equitable opportunities for education and financial security.
