As one of the largest producers of U.S. flags in the country, Goodwill South Florida’s Ryder Apparel Manufacturing Division plays a critical part in honoring our nation’s heroes. Each year, more than 85,000 interment flags are produced for veteran burials and presented to the families of service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
This recent media coverage shines a light on the pride Goodwill South Florida employees, many of whom have disabilities, take in crafting these meaningful flags with the utmost respect and care. Since operations began over 30 years ago, Goodwill South Florida has honored more than 2.5 million veterans through its flag production.
